2012 LUTHERAN WOMEN'S MISSIONARY LEAGUE MONTANA DISTRICT CONVENTION April 27-29, 2012 Trinity Lutheran Church 400 W. California Street, Kalispell, MT 59901 406-257-5683 September 1, 2011 Dear Montana LWML Sisters in Christ, Trinity Lutheran LWML of Kalispell and sister societies of the Flathead Zone invite you to the 35th Biennial Convention of the Montana District Lutheran Women's Missionary League April 27-29, 2012. We welcome you all to the beautiful Flathead Valley and hope you enjoy what our area of the state has to offer while attending the convention. The convention theme will be Stand Firm - based on Philippians 1:27b Convention Logo: The above image gives the impression of standing on a firm base - the Word of God. We work together by the power of the Spirit to spread the saving message of salvation in Jesus Christ found only in God's Word to the world! Convention Goal Statement: Empowered by the Holy Spirit, I courageously and enthusiastically share the saving message of salvation in Jesus Christ found only in God's Word. Convention Objectives: Worship the Triune God Encounter Jesus' saving message in His Word Rejoice in the mission opportunities God provides Live boldly as His children Convention sessions will include dynamic speakers, inspiring Bible studies, worship services, election of officers and selection of new Mission Grants. There will be opportunities to renew relationships with fellow sisters and brothers in Christ and make new friends. It will be a weekend of fellowship and Christian growth you won't want to miss. In order to help you publicize this convention to the ladies, young women and teens of your society and congregation, enclosed is an insert that can be reproduced and included in your church bulletin or newsletter. You are encouraged to use it when you celebrate LWML Sunday or any other time during the year as you choose. Please share this with your pastor.
